Chocolate Chip Cookies using Valley Kitchen All-Purpose Flour Blend


Yield: 18 cookies

1/4 Cup (60 ml) Butter, Room Temperature

1/2 Cup (125 ml) Brown Sugar

1 Egg, Large

1 tsp (5 ml) Vanilla

1 1/2 Cups (375 ml) Valley Kitchen All-Purpose Flour Blend

2 tsp (10 ml) Baking Powder

1/2 Cup (125 ml) Chocolate Chips


1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

2) Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

3) Cream the butter and brown sugar.

4) Beat in the egg and vanilla.

5) Combine the multi-purpose flour blend and baking powder.

6) Add the creamed mixture and chocolate chips to the flour mixture. Stir until completely blended.

7) Scoop the dough, about 2 Tbsp each, (#40 scoop) onto the lined baking sheets.

8) Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.

9) Cool on the pan for several minutes and then move to a rack to cool completely.
